Staff Training

Woodlands is committed to the training and development of all its staff.



New staff members are introduced to Woodlands through a six month induction and training programme to ensure that they are familiar with all procedures as well as the policies and philosophies of the Centre.

Ongoing training needs are identified at annual appraisal and given as required.

Induction

Image depicts the interior of a information centre in Woodlands Respite Care Centre. All personnel will receive induction training according to the requirements of their position from their line manager. In particular, induction training for employees will include Health & Safety, Fire, safe and correct use of equipment, policies and procedures, as well as competencies identified from individual job descriptions.


External Standards

Woodlands is accredited with the National Quality Standard Investors in People.

Woodlands is committed to meeting the skills sector workforce targets as identified by the National Care Standards Commission.
