Where are we?

By Road

Turn off the York Ring Road at the A1079 (Hull) and take the road back into the city centre.

Pass the Park and Ride on your left, B & Q on your right and go straight across the large roundabout.

Go past Archbishop Holgate’s School, followed by the Black Bull Country Lodge on your left.

Just after the entrance to a supermarket, turn left up a small one-way street of terraced houses called SIWARD STREET. (Look out for the MS Society Respite Care Centre sign on the right).

At the end of this street, turn left again into THIEF LANE. Continue to the end and carry straight on down the ‘no through road’ where you will find WOODLANDS.

By Rail
Go to York station. East Coast - Main Line. (London Kings Cross – York).

Taxis are available outside the station. Respite Care Guests travelling by train can be collected from York Station provided adequate notice is given, for a small charge of £10 (return). Guests are advised to book their journey with customer care when making their travel arrangements.
