Tea Trolley

Volunteers are needed to serve and assist Guests from the morning and afternoon tea trolleys.



Image depicts the interior of the lounge in Woodlands Respite Care Centre. If you are a sociable person who can interact with the Guests on a one-to-one and group basis, this is the role for you!

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
· Create a friendly and social atmosphere
· Assist Guests with food and drinks
· Keep the drinks trolley neat and tidy
· Adhere to policies and procedures

Skills
· Good listening and communication skills
· Ability to work in a team
· Good organisational skills
· Good tea and coffee making skills!

Personal Qualities
· Dependable and trustworthy
· Sensitive and understanding
· Reliable
· Friendly and approachable

Anticipated Commitment
· The desirable volunteer commitment is between 6 - 8 hours per month
· This position is available 7 days a week - mid morning or mid afternoon
· Additional opportunities available if wanted

Training
· Induction session
· Shadowing session(s) with staff members or volunteers
· Volunteers are expected to attend annual ongoing training
