Woodlands Volunteers receive Shining Stars Awards

On Thursday 27th July 2006, we were delighted to welcome Mr Tony Kennan MBE, the Chairman of the MS Society and Elly Fiorentini, Radio York Presenter, our guest of honour, who presented the MS Shining Star Awards to some of our loyal volunteers.

Woodlands simply could not function without the support of volunteers who give freely of their time to assist with so many things. We can never thank them enough.

As part of the celebrations to mark the official opening of our Dining Room extension, presentations were made to eight people (including a married couple) who have all made significant contributions to Woodlands across various areas of our organisation.
