Who can access respite care?
Respite care at Woodlands can be accessed by any adult with Multiple Sclerosis (age 18+). Our specialist service and generous staffing levels allow us to provide total care for people with variable levels of dependency, ranging from the most simple to more complex nursing needs. We are dedicated to provide you with care of the highest professional standards, tailored to meet individual needs as far as possible.
Referral can be by a variety of means, including self-referral, subject to medical information from the Guest’s medical practitioner or consultant neurologist, and the availability of funding for the stay. First-time Guests are encouraged to arrange a pre-admission visit by contacting the Funding Co-ordinator Hannah Breheney. Alternatively our reception staff are always happy to answer any general queries, and a DVD of Woodlands' facilities is available free of charge.
