As a charity, Woodlands relies heavily on donations and fundraising and the Friends of Woodlands - through the ever-popular Charity Shop - contribute greatly to the on-going improvement of Woodlands' facilities.
Booking Information
Bookings open each year on the first Monday in November for the following financial year (April – March).
Booking enquiries may be made by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm), by writing to the Bookings Office, or by emailing our Administration Supervisor Gail Gray. Bookings are taken from Saturday to Saturday to enable Guests to choose from the full range of outings and therapeutic treatments, and are usually for a one or two week duration. Visits of two weeks are positively encouraged, in order that Guests and their carers may derive maximum benefit.
We ask our Guests with respite packages to spread their bookings evenly throughout the year in the interests of fairness to all parties. Once fully booked, we operate a formal waiting list system. If we are unable to accommodate your specific request, we will gladly add your name to our Waiting List, and contact you in the event of a cancellation. A great many Guests have been accommodated in this way, and the chances of being offered a cancellation vacancy are improved where Guests are able to be flexible.
The four additional bedrooms mean that Woodlands has recently has more availability. Please do not hesitate to contact our General Office if you would like to book additional stays.
